Kohree NSF 372 Certified 5/8" RV Drinking Water Hose – Lead-Free & Anti-Kink

This is a great hose for an RV or for camping but it is not good to use as a garden hose. The first time I used it I was trying to fill my dog's water bowl and it kept kinking in different spots. I could not get any water out of it until I straightened it out. However this hose is made for drinking water so in that sense it is perfect. If you want a tough garden hose pick something else. If you need a nice flexible hose when camping that you can safely drink from definitely grab this one. I also liked the 50 foot length since it lets you reach pretty far from the spigot. It is really lightweight so it is easy to carry around. The bright blue color makes it stand out and I am sure that shade was chosen to represent clean water.

We use garden hoses for all sorts of jobs but there are moments when we really need a dedicated drinking water hose. The best use we have found for this Kohree NSF 372 certified 5/8 inch hose is on our RV trailer.

I really appreciate that the outer hose is clearly labeled with the words Drinking Water Hose. The light blue color makes it simple to tell apart from all our other garden hoses.

The 75 foot length is more than enough to reach most campsite hookups. The 5/8 inch diameter gives better water flow compared to the 1/2 inch or smaller hoses we have used before. The hose body is made from rubber and reinforced PVC that holds up well against UV rays which should help it last through plenty of seasons. It is fairly easy to handle and coil back up though it does have some kink resistance so taking a moment to lay it out and store it properly goes a long way.

It packs down nicely and fits easily in our RV storage thanks to the included netted bag with a carry handle.

The ends of the hose have aluminum fittings which are not quite as nice as brass ones in my opinion. I took off one star from my review rating for that reason.

It was time to swap out my old RV drinking water hose after plenty of seasons at the campground so this was a good chance to try the Kohree hose. Right out of the package it hits all the right marks with NSF 372 certified lead free build BPA and phthalate free food grade materials a 450 PSI burst rating and UV stabilized layers that handle temps from minus 4 to 176 degrees. The precision machined fittings feel solid and the spot where the hose meets the fitting is reinforced so it will not bend awkwardly which shows someone actually thought this through.

First time handling it I noticed it feels a lot like a regular garden hose. It is stout enough for RV hookups but do not expect the soft easy handling of a lightweight hose. It claims to be anti kink and it behaves well under normal runs but if you crank it at a sharp angle it will still fold. Best to keep it out of constant direct sun so it does not set a permanent curve. The connectors though are excellent easy to grip easy to snug down and totally leak free on my setup.

I really like the storage bag too. It fits the 35 footer just right has a drawstring with a stopper and clearly says DRINKING WATER HOSE so there is zero chance of mixing it up with a utility hose. Honestly I cannot believe I used to just wad my old hose up and toss it in the RV. This bag adds a nice touch of cleanliness.

When dry the hose is surprisingly light and easy to lug in the bag from the spigot back to the rig. Since the liner is a rubber PVC blend how long it lasts will depend a lot on how and where you use it and it is not always obvious when it is time for a replacement. I plan to play it safe and swap it out a little earlier than necessary. A touch more flexibility would make routing easier but for the price the quality is fair and the whole setup especially with that storage bag feels well considered.

Awesome drinking safe hose for my camper. Strong heavy duty hose does not kink. The fittings are good heavy duty and will not get deformed. Came with its own bag which is vented to prevent mold. I would highly recommend it to my friends and family. Got to love that purple color.

Wow this is a very nice drinking water hose. Excellent quality hose that lays flat right out of the coil. The ends are stainless steel. The female hose end has a very nice grip built right into the threaded connector. Very easy to connect and tighten to the city water valve. The seal is a neoprene type instead of standard rubber. I have used many hoses from different manufacturers and have yet to see one lay flatter than this one straight out of the coil. It also came with a carrying cover that lets me pull out just the length I need while keeping the rest neatly tucked away. Excellent quality RV water hose for the price.

This is one of the best drinking water safe hose I've ever had. Does not kink and has heavy duty ends, so smashing would be hard to do. It co.es with it's own vented carrying bag. You will not be sorry with this hose its also light weight.

This Kohree NSF 372 Certified drinking water hose is a well made solid tool for using as either a camper hose or as I am using it to safely fill water barrels for emergency use. It is long enough to run from the kitchen window to the basement door making it easy to fill the 30 gallon barrels and keep them in the basement for emergencies. The barrels once filled are too heavy to easily move so this was the best solution and I needed a reliable human safe hose to add the water. The connections are good and the material seems well made and durable. Very happy with this purchase.
