RV Inline Water Filter NSF Certified for Campers, Garden & Marine

I use this on my RV water inlet hose for usually 3 to 4 months at a time along with two internal whole-house type filters a spun sediment element in line with a one micron carbon block filter element.
The Kohree inline hose filter is not the best but is very inexpensive works okay and has good flow. The only time we had reduced flow was when the whole-house elements needed changing so the 20 micron Kohree did not catch everything.
My order says I ordered the model HY1639 but the one I received was a HY1641. It did not have the five stage filtration shown in the pictures of the HY1639 it had a screen at the inlet a layer of foam rubber-like material a lot of loose carbon granules then another thin layer of foam rubber. The advanced filtration layer and KDF layer shown at the top of the page were missing but if you scroll down the page to the Kohree detailed features you see a picture more like the one I received without the two additional layers.
This filter says it is NSF certified and BPA-free and provides an ANSI-42 certification which appears to be only for chlorine and aesthetic smell taste and appearance quality. The ad also says it reduces heavy metals and it likely does but there is no certification to that effect. Competing US-made name brand products state ANSI-42 -53 -61 and -372 lead free certification but they cost about twice as much. If I were only using the one hose filter I would pay up for the name brand. I only change hose filters every 3 to 4 months so the extra six dollar difference in cost each when ordered in pairs is pretty negligible.
